Every once in a while a person comes along in life that just blows you away with their kindness and extraordinarily positive outlook on life. One night a group of us were talking about how much we enjoy and depend upon our CoreCrossfit community. A single individual came up in our conversation over and over again – Pete Deeley. Pete is always happy, supportive, kind and has a way of bringing you up when the going gets tough. We even joked about Pete’s kind nature so far as to say we could convince Gandhi to strike someone in anger before we convince Pete!
Keeping that in mind, we decided that Pete is the embodiment of all things good and we could all be better people by borrowing from the phrase “ What Would Jesus Do?” by routinely asking ourselves “What Would Pete Deeley Do?”
And now we have made it possible to do just that
In an effort to help raise money for the great charities of Fight Gone Bad 6, as well as to honor, compliment and thank our awesome friend Pete, I have ordered “WWPDD” wrist bands! I am selling them for $5 each and will donate all of the proceeds to FGB6!!! I have a limited stock so if you would like to pick one up please send an email to calindel@gmail.com and let me know how many you want.
You can either pay cash at the gym and I will pick it up, or you can donate directly to my FGB link below. I will make sure to have the bands available at the front desk at Core. If you do decide to pay cash for the bands, I will make sure to provide a confirmation email of the donation if you require one for tax write off purposes.
Thank you! Jordan Burczyk

Yessssss!
ReplyI feel confident that at any moment you find yourself in an ethical or moral quandry, ask yourself; what would Pete Deeley do? Answer that, and you’ll have your answer. Seriously though, Pete, you’re one of the most awesome individuals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting at Core (and I’ve met a few). Keep on inspiring everyone to be better athletes, and better people.
ReplyI second everything that has been said about Pete D. What a great guy and I will absolutely be ordering me a WWPDD wrist band.
ReplyThanks for collaborating with me on this Jorden K and Felipe G.
ReplyThis was a hilarious and fun idea
I love it! You know on a post like this, Pete Deeley would tell me to “book mark it” and go back and read it periodically (especially if I was feeling down!).
You’re awesome Pete. We are so lucky to have your friendship.
