I’m very honored to announce that our friends at Luke Air Force Base have invited us to take part in this year’s LAFB PT Combat Challenge on Friday May 4th, 0600 to 1200. This competition is not a Crossfit Competition, but a competition using Military PT Drills. This is a wonderful opportunity to battle side by side with the world’s finest Military. Last year we competed against teams from our Air Force, Marines, and Army EOD. It’s a lot of fun, and FYI Core Crossfit Team DELTA were last years winners! I’ll be designing the 4 Person teams (Male, Female, and Co-Ed), and they will be assembled on a first come, first serve basis. Required uniform for the Competition is Woodland BDU’s (the camouflage pants soldiers wear) and a solid black LONG sleeve shirt, no exceptions per the coordinators from LAFB. . Also, Core Crossfit has a reputation for having the largest presence when we go to LAFB, and this year there is a limit of 6 teams per box. If you are interested in joining e-mail me at adrian@corecrossfit.com in your e-mail please include your Name, Address, Phone Number, Date of Birth and Social Security Number. Because we are going on an AFB, there will be a background check on everyone entering base. Don’t worry, they wont give you a hassle about that one time you did that thing in college, they are making sure you are able to drive on base, and that you are not a suspected terrorist. Everyone interested needs to send me their information by April 25th, no exceptions. Let’s go back, battle with the America’s Airmen, Soldiers and Marines, and bring that trophy back to Core!
