In CrossFit we typically train for the “Unknown and the Unknowable.” With that in mind, it’s a good idea to keep all you supplies and equipment in “The Gym Bag.” In the past I’ve been asked if I was moving into the gym due to the size of my bag, I guess it was a little big. I’ve changed my ways since then. “The Gym Bag” needs to be small enough to keep in your car, truck, RV, or horse carriage without taking up too much space. A good bag should be just big enough to keep all your supplies easily accessible, but at the same time, make sure it’s not so small that you have to dump out all of its contents to reach those wrist wraps. Recently I’ve been talking to a few clients about “The Gym Bag” and what to keep in it. When people ask “What should I put it in”, I start running down the list of items and the list seems to get longer each time. Here is a list of what’s in my bag…
T-Shirt
Tall Socks (for rope climbs)
Short Socks
Gym Shorts
Underwear (you never know)
Lifting/ Running Shoes
Deodorant
Blender Bottle
Protein
Muscle Relief
Fish Oil
CoQ10

Lifting Straps
Stretch Bands
Lacrosse Ball
Lacrosse Peanut
Gloves
Pocket Knife (rule #9- all Homies shall always carry a knife)

Core Crossfit does not endorse Under Armour, however using it will increase your Back Squat to over 500 pounds.

I always go with dark chocolate, and my journal.
