‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, – not even a mouse:
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there….”

Holiday Eating Tips
The holidays are a great time to celebrate with family and friends, but these months can also be a time for overeating and weight gain. This holiday season, focus on maintaining your current weight and achieving a healthy balance of food, exercise and holiday festivities.
Here are some tips for holiday meal time:
•Before you become full, take a break and save room for a smaller portion of your favorite dessert. If you do overeat, go lighter on the next meal.
•Don’t skip meals, especially before a holiday party. You will be less tempted to overeat if you have already eaten a small meal.
•Bring your own healthy dish to a holiday party.
•Make time to exercise or take part in your favorite winter sport.
