Personal Training
At CoreCrossFit we strive to develop innovative ways to improve our clients’ health and everyday living. Using scientifically proven methods that have been practiced for years, and thinking outside of the box a bit, we have created a new one-on-one Personal Coaching program. This program will provide you a way to reach your wellness and fitness goals as well as the knowledge and conditioning to perform the CrossFit style workout regimen.
The one-on-one Personal Coaching program includes:
·Body fat percentage
·Making and then surpassing goals!
·Nutritional assessment
·Functional movement assessment
·Specific program design
You will improve within each of these categories with our help, but mostly through your own accountability, hard work, and dedication.
Your experience will begin with a series of tests and measurements to develop an initial individual benchmark or starting foundation. We will measure body fat percentage, establish goals and conduct nutritional and functional assessments. Based on initial test results you and your coach will develop a strength, flexibility and cardio program that is specifically designed for your needs. The second session will begin with your individual workout program.The program is designed on the premise that you will participate in three one-hour sessions per week for a three-month period.
A personal training regimen at Core CrossFit surpasses that of any professional caliber Personal Training system found at other health clubs. After one month of training the changes you experience in your strength, endurance and body alignment may be small, yet noticeable, when compared to your initial performance.Significantly noticeable results usually require a three-month commitment to a fitness and nutrition program.We perform comparisons against your individual baseline every three months that will show your progression. You will have measurable and noticeable changes that will affect your every day life in a positive way.
The specific components of the program are detailed below. Programs may be modified based upon individual fitness levels and goals.
1.Anthropometric Measurements-
These measurements consist of body fat percent, circumference measurements, BMI (Body Mass Index) and total weight. In the total weight category we will break down lean muscle weight vs. fat weight.
2.Goal Setting-
It is hard to make progress or reach a goal if it is not clearly defined and measurable.You and your coach will determine your short and long term goals and develop a methodical apporach to attaining what is important to you.
3.Nutritional Assessment-
What you eat not only changes the body’s chemistry, but also how we react to situations, focus to details, performance in exercise/working out and the bodies ability to perform at its optimum.You will be compiling food journals that show what you consume throughout the day. We will also provide guidance in nutrition through a Registered Dietician.
4.Functional Assessments-
This is where we will assess your ability to perform movements that are in everyday life. These movements consist of squatting, lifting objects overhead, walking, and anything that requires any type of work from the body.
