“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruits, little starch, and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.” -Greg Glassman

Proper nutrition is atleast 80% of getting healthy and fit.  If you don’t plan on changing what you eat and think that just adding “cardio” is the answer, you’re wrong.  You need to eat good quality food.  If you simply follow what what is written above, you’ll look and feel much better.  This is basically the Paleo Diet.

Most elite CrossFitters combine the Paleo Diet which represents the quality of food you should be eating. With the Zone Diet which represents the quantity. People have a lot of success and amazing results with this combination. If you have trouble with the Zone and it seems too complicated just start with the Paleo Diet. Below I have a link which will give you a list of foods that you can eat, that are all considered Paleo. Paleo simply means it’s food that isn’t processed in any way, it’s also called the caveman diet. Real food is grown on trees, planted and harvested from the earth, most likely had eyes, at one time was walking, swimming, or flying. Examples of this are fish, steak, chicken, spinach, tomatoes, apples, oranges, almonds, and cashews. The more you stick to these foods the better off you’re going to feel, recover, and look.

We’ll keep adding articles and recipes so keep coming back and checking out this section of the website. If you have any questions that these links don’t answer ask us and we’ll find the answer for you. The links below should be a good start for you. Have a wonderful day!
